Plant Essentials Eco Skincare is the creation of Toni McMahon, a local of Townsville for the past 20 years. In 2003 Toni purchased 2 existing Aromatherapy stores in Townsville & began the journey of research & experimentation to create Plant Essentials eco skin care.
As a heavy vehicle mechanic Toni knew the dangers of many chemicals used in the industry, which shockingly are used in many conventional & “natural”skin care brands. Her experiences as a scuba diver on the Great Barrier Reef gives Toni a passion to protect our precious environment. As an aromatherapist, Toni has a strong focus on the careful selection of pure essential oils to boost the powerful effectiveness of every product.

The Plant Essentials eco skin care range has been developed to specifically suit our harsh local environment, rich in key ingredients such as Organic Rosehips, Cold Pressed Avocado, Organic Sandalwood, Organic Shea Butter, Raw Beeswax, Walnut Oil & Organic Cocoa Butter to soothe, hydrate, nourish and repair, delicate & damaged skin.
Plant Essentials is one of the few skin care ranges in North Queensland not made in a factory, it is still hand made in small batches right here in the North. Even the packaging used to contain Plant Essentials is minimal and recyclable. Plant Essentials is constantly sourcing ingredients as locally as possible to support our local economy & to minimize the negative impact on the environment through transportation of goods. Toni donates a small portion of profits from the sale of Plant Essentials eco products to support earth friendly causes.
