Causes we Love
At Plant Essentials we support North Queensland based animal welfare organisations. Sometimes in life we forget how lucky we are. We spend lots of time trying to make ends meet and we forget what life is really all about.
We not only want to make a difference to how you feel and look but also to help local organisations like the reef HQ Turtle Hospital (www.reefhq.com.au) & the Sea Turtle Foundation (www.seaturtlefoundation.org).
Sea Turtle Foundation is a non-profit, non-government group working to protect and conserve sea turtles through research, education, awareness and action. You can go to their website directly to make a donation, or why not pop your loose change in the Sea Turtle Donation Tin at the front counter of Plant Essentials.
Reef HQ Turtle Hospital has built a dedicated facility, where sick and injured marine turtles can be cared for and rehabilitated. Turtle hospital will play a key role in treating acute and chronic ailments and rehabilitate turtles so they can be released back to the Ocean. I hope this information gives you some insight into what we do and who we are at Plant Essentials, as we try to do more than just great spa treatments.
